any recent news on price discount for Panerai ?

I hv been looking around for Panerai watches and found only a handful AD & grey market that have those .. but whenever I asked about the price it seems that they have different discount rate from 3-5% only is it only on this area that the discount is very lmited or what is the usual discount that the Panerai AD or grey market gives ?or , if I plan to purchase the used one, then what price ranges should i expect (compare to the retail price for e.g. ) ? really appreciate your comment , thanki

Do you place your watch through the X-Ray at airport security?

My IWC rose gold perpetual (IW502213) recently went in for service (to IWC's service center in Dallas) since it was running 10min fast (per mo). I frequently travel, and my watches are always subjected to the x-ray machines at the airport security terminal. I was told that placing a watch through the x-ray damages the movementI don't recall the detailsHowever, has anyone else experienced this?
