Price increases Feb. 10th

Just as an FYI, Hamilton sent out a notice this week that list prices will be going up on February 10th. The increasingly weak dollar is definitely taking its toll in imported watches (and other things, of course). How much off retail is good?

I am currently in Hong Kong on business and I have visited a few Omega dealers looking to MAYBE pick up a watch.So far, I am not impressed with the pricing. The most I was able to get was 8% off of retail. Is this a good deal? I thought 20% or more was possible. I want a 300M Seamaster Chronograph 2225.80 and the best I could find was US$2,900. Seems high to me. No?
