I don't wear it much anymore, but here is a bad picture of my VC. I haven't worn it in years, it used to be my uncle's, who bought it new in the early 50's. It lives in a bank safe now..jl333.jpg
My watch keeps great time but I've toyed with the idea of having it serviced and/or cleaned up a bit. Everyone I've talked to seems to want $400+ to give it the "standard" checkup/maintenance, plus any parts needed. Is there another (cheaper) option out there? How might I determine the value of the watch? I'm not interested in spending more than it's worth.Thanks
