I just bought a late 60's Constellation SN 25xxxxxx. SS 168.010. Watch had a spot on the dial, which really was much less noticeable than the photo. So far so good. Upon closer examination. The spot appeared to be from glue due to a botched repair of the 12 O'clock hash mark. Looked more like a blacksmith repair than a watch repair. Otherwise this was a nice origonal dial. This plus an undisclosed case issue are leading me to return the watch. As this is a nice running 564 cal. Neither the spot
I spent a little time with a polishing cloth to brighten up the case a tad (while leaving all her wrinkles) and added a nice ostrich band. I'm loving this combination. I hope you all approve!And the main reason I so enjoy vintage pieces...they fit my spindly wrist so well!I'm lovin' this sexy 60 year old. She's a keeper!
