Hello from a new guy

First off let me say hello to all. New to the site and have foung this a wealth f information. I have had the watch bug over 27 years and do not see the fever breaking any time soon. I hope to pick your brains on a new to me watch. Consellation 14k pie pan. My main question is if I should have the dial restored.
