I just finished this Elgin today. I usually do not restore dials with luminous material along with the hands but I have been experimenting lately with some new things. This is a transition watch and the dial that is on this movement is the same one that was on it when I bought it awhile back. The dial was in VERY poor condition and almost un-usable. I sent the dial and hands out to Rob at International, I think that they did a fantastic job! The numerals and hands look white but they glow bright
So, I sold a watch on the bay, and I had never opened the back.....and the guy who wrote it ( from Poland) just wrote me that it has a Vulcain dial and the case and movement are from peugot .......now, lucky for me he didn't pay much for it, but just wanted to check with the vast storage of knowledge that lives here, to make sure that it's a marriage, not the way Vulcain usually puts it watches out ......I will refund the guys money no problem, but why on earth would someone put something like t
