Just browsing the swamp as usual, found a nice little mens Elgin,Good shape, probably from the 50's, original band. Need some repairs to the movement, seller says it's running slow,No bids at 1$, I wonder why......100$ STANDARD SHIPPING?! Either the watch is made of lead and depleted uranium or someone is trying to jip someone who doesn't read so carefully!
My Breitling Navitimer World has been away for the last 4 months getting a case replacement due to one of the lugs getting slightly deformed from over-polishing. While I'm a little peeved that two of the new case's lugs got lightly scratched by the repair shop due to not using masking tape, I'm just relieved it happened on the underside so as to be pretty much invisible.
