I found a Timex at the bay that had this line in the description: "CLASSIC LOOK WITH THE CONVENIENCE OF AN AUTOMATIC". I sent an inquiry about the watch asking if it indeed the watch was a mechanical watch and here is the reply: "That has a battery powered quartz movement that never needs to be wound. Like an automatic watch.It is 37-38mm wide without including the crown.Regards,Oh those sellers at the bay! It appears "the convenience of an automatic" now means quartz.
So, I had a flashback to high school and bought a neat Universal LED watch on the bay for a tidy sum of .01. Yes, one cent, I was the only bidder!!! Only marking on watch is 30 M WR. Had a battery installed and it functions great but I can't figure out how to set it!!!! It has the typical four push buttons with the bottom left being the "mode" button. Any suggestions???? I already did the usual Google searches....
