My SMP300 wound down over the weekend cause I didn't give it any wrist time so I wound it back up today. Question, shouldn't the second hand start moving only after a few winds and definitely by about 10?? I wound it quite a bit before the second hand starting moving. Also, what should you hear if you put your ear to the watch when winding? I know about the over-wind clicking protection that should start clicking when the spring is fully wound, but should there be a sort of "grinding"/rough soun
Greetings. I was lucky enough to find this Hamilton at a garage sale this morning. From what I have found online I think it's a Trent. Maybe from the late 50s? I was born in '58. Is the watch about the same age? It's in great shape. No brassing. Minimal scratches. Original box, I think. It's 10k gold filled. I took off the speidel band and put on a leather band. Looks great. I wound it this morning and it's keeping good time so far, but I would like to have it serviced before I wear
