Back in October, I purchased this Gruen triple date, which was described as serviced, as having a pristine dial, and all functions working. I paid a pretty penny for it.When I got it, the dial was scratched up and the date functions didn't work. I sent it off to my watch guy, who determined that several parts were stripped and he couldn't source any replacements.From there, it was sent back to the seller. They kept me up to date, but finally today, they emailed me and said they couldn't find 
Hi Guys,I've seen a 2004 Flieger chronograph 39mm for sale, but notice that the newer model is 42mm.I've just been to my AD and tried the newer model on. I liked the size, but to be honest I think I like the look of the older version (the squared off hr hand etc).Has anyone tried or had both and can tell me if there is that much noticeable difference between them in size, feel and weight?
