Hi allI have been searching intensely for my 1st watch to start me off. So far I have been swaying towards a Hamilton as I really like there watches and the history although now looking around I have noticed baume et mercier and Maurice lacroix. What are your thoughts on these brands and what would be good to start with. If I go for the more expensive baume et mercier do I have to get the higher end models. My price limit is around ��1500 and ideally would like leather strap and an auto movement.
