Well I had to stop into the local AD last night for something else, and was told they'd finally received the new Date-Just II. So of course I had to try it on. First impressions were pretty good, as I expected. Positives:The 41mm wears well, but not large. I expected it to wear larger, but it felt very similar to the Sub, only thinner.
