Hello and thank you for allowing me to join your forum. I haven't purchased a new watch in nearly 30 years; a Seiko 2 in mid 1980s and a Seiko dress watch mid 1970s. Other than replacing bands occasionally they have been issue free well, the Seiko 2 was stolen so I'm wanting to replace it.I know nothing about watches but I've had such good luck with Seiko I'd like to get another. Can you help me decide which is the best quality/value for an every day wear? I'm thinking of Seiko Sport 5 SARZ0
Hi, about a month ago my 7 year old Seamaster started not autowinding. I took it to an authorized dealer (place where I bought) and they gave me an estimate of $840 for both necessary and optional repairs. Necessary repairs only around $450. Seven years ago I bought the watch $1800, a service chage for almost half the retail price. Is this normal?
