Now normally (in my opinion) I would go for an auto movement vs. a quartz simply because it has more soul/dont have to be bothered to change the battery. But I got to thinking, if your picking up something like a Seiko, it appears the quartz movements are MORE expensive? Why is this? Also the above hold true in the short term, but what about the long term? Do all automatic movements have to be serviced every 10 or so years? The reason I ask is because I am picking up a Seiko and I have the option
I don't see a forum issues forum, so I thought I would post it here. Whenever I click on a sponsor links, I get the sponsor's site in the same window as WTF. It's a simple matter of putting target=blank in the link in the html to have the sponsor's site open in a new window. I try to support the sponsors, but I hate having to navigate back to the forum when I'm done, especially if I'm in a forum and I lose my place.I know this is a small thing, but it would make the WTF experience better.
