This is not a hefty tool watch, it is not even a diver. It is not large and clunky nor showy. It is not very well known but in my opinion it is one of the best model of watches available around. In fact it might even be a possible watch option for a repeat of a famous Everest expeditionthe name says it all, and even though it has nothing to do with the Alps and the famous for their watches small little country nested in there, it is called Alpinist. I picked up my latest Samurai mod this week,it had a drastic mod rather than the simple hand change of my last one. I got a dial with no date window so that i could have it put in upside down and make it a 'leftie'....just to be different. Ime not sure what strap it will end up on but ive got it on my Stowa Prodiver rubber for now. -Andy
