I've asked a guy on youtube about the co-axial escapement a couple of months ago, and i received this answer just yesterday....To make things worse for the inventor of the co-axial, Dr. Daniels, Seiko introduced a movement that did away with escapments all together! You wind the watch up and it only has one way motion of the wheels (!), no escapment! On top of that its the worlds only mechanical watch with quartz accuracy. I did a review on a Tag Heuer formula 1 Chronotimer I had briefly in my possession. It was actually a fairly careful watch and I liked how it looked on my wrist, but I thought if I did not keep the Breitling B-1, why would keep this an I would port for sports typical excuse, but I would either bring a Casio G-shock or one of my Lings. It is simply the way it is.
