This is a timeless design, it derivates from the first G-Shock produced back in the Eighties and it's also the smallest and less bulky G-Shock so far. The original model (the one that appears in the Speed movie worn by Keanu Reeves) had a screw in case back and metal case but now they are produced with a lighter material so the case is made of plastic and the case back has four screws on it. It remains 200 mts. water resistant, though.I use it every saturday when playing paintball so it gets wet
