Older Citizen mechanicals seem hard to find?

My first post - hello all.I have noticed that older citizen mechanical watches seem hard to find and they bring some pretty good money. I have mint dial to fit a 17J citizen and always wanted to restore a nice stainless watch citizen but they seem scarce unlike all the seiko vintage and seiko divers.
