This year Ulysse Nardin?changes the name of its Freak Diavolo watch to the "Freak Phantom." I can't say why that is, but I suspect it has to do with conservative types who take issue with the fact that a watch is called "devil." That is the watch industry for youWhat else has changed? Well the Diavolo was previously offered only in 18k white gold, and now we have it in 18k rose gold. Still probably one of the coolest tourbillon watches available when you want something that's not standard fare.T
I was in a SAMs recently and they had a Breitling Chronomat for $5,900. I have seen the same one at a local Breitling dealer for over $10,000. I called Breitling and they said since SAMs wasn't an authorized dealer the watch would not have any warranty. For the savings I would consider risking it. Breitling also said SAMs most likely got it when they purchased inventory from a business that was closing. Give me your thoughts.
