The hunter style model 1942 was the third 6/0 sized series of movements made by Waltham It was produced after the hunter style 1898 and the open face style 1912 models which had been in production for over 15 years. I don't really understand the 1942 designation as production started in 1934. The last 1942s were produced in 1950.This is the movement that got me started.
