Dear All,due to too much work I have not taken part to many discussion lately but I did not get better from the watch sickness...I have had for many years a very flat golden plated quartz Longines. Now, this watch was given to me by a family friend and there is no way I would sell it but "flat, golden plated, quartz" more or less describe the exact opposite of the watches I like and so I tought that I might try to do a few reversible changes in order to make the piece at least bearable to me.
