STEINHART Ocean 44 GMT This is a great looking watch built in a rather rigid way. The watch was bought brand new specifically for this particular project. No bead blasting or further refinishing has been done so to preserve its original look and feel for the curve. It incorporates several different finishes: satin, polished, and bead-blasted. Geez, I've been looking to add another killer vintage piece to the box but I've been thwarted the last few times. Either the Watch Gods are telling me I've had enough for a while or I garnered some negative karma from the Omega vs Hamilton trash talking. I got smoked on a sweet JLC triple calendar moonphase, got lucky that I didn't buy a VC (redial - but almost fooled me), and couldn't give cash to a seller who's local that wants to continue his auction to the end for a 40's Omega.
