I need a great repair man in the Los Angeles area.......Any one have any suggestions who to conact? Must know how to get 982 movments to keep accurate time. Any one know what the rate resluts for a 982 was when it left the factory? I want to get mine to within 10 seconds +/- or better. Is it possible?
This was one of my first few Hamiltons that I started my collection with. It's a circa 1923 Silver Cushion Round, 986A. If I remember correctly, I think I got this for about $225 on Ebay. I did have to redo the hands and dial and of course a service, but I really didn't realize how scarce this one was at the time I acquired it. I thought that I'd share it with you all. Norm
