When it comes to ways of displaying the date on a watch, I consider myself a bit of a traditionalist in that I prefer the use of discs to read out the date, rather than a hand moving around a dial. I was given a watch in the early 80's in Italy as a confirmation gift from my uncle. I am trying to find some informatiopn about it but am having no luck. It is an 18k yellow gold automatic wristwatch. The brand on the face and the back is Neirs. Also the model name is Geneve. The back of the case also has some numbers below the Neirs mark. The number is: 1826 1.I hope some one here can give me some info. I tried googling the brand name but have come up empty. I did find a brand of gold watches
