Hi Everyone =)This is my first post on this forum and I�d just like to give you a bit of a background about my watch history.I haven�t really been interested in time pieces but found myself stumbling into jewellers and was surprisingly taken back about the quality of some of the watches out there. Due to this and reading up on watches in forums such as this one, I have decided to take the plunge! =OMy initial thoughts were between the blue Omega Seamaster 300m 41mm and the Tag Heuer Carrera chrono
I was given a watch in the early 80's in Italy as a confirmation gift from my uncle. I am trying to find some informatiopn about it but am having no luck. It is an 18k yellow gold automatic wristwatch. The brand on the face and the back is Neirs. Also the model name is Geneve. The back of the case also has some numbers below the Neirs mark. The number is: 1826 1.I hope some one here can give me some info. I tried googling the brand name but have come up empty. I did find a brand of gold watches
