I am considering adding this piece to my collection and would sell my Rolex GMT if I decide to go forward. I would appreciate any comments or thoughts folks have comparing these two pieces. I have several other Rolex pieces and two Patek's and am fond of both. Not convinced I will like the rubber strap as that seems a little unusual in an expensive piece like the 5164.Thanks for your feedback.
Hi allwell i went ahead and bought the m36 lumtec but now the mechanical bug has hit hard. I have never owned a mechanical watch before and so i am asking for suggestions. I love the look of the dive or sports watches such as stolas, deep blue and lum tec but being my first mechanical i really want to beable to see as much of the working inside of the watch as possible without it being a full skeleton (so partial or at least with the back case showing the insides).
