Hello there,I'm about to buy my first Vintage Longines and I would like to collect some opinions.Here's the watch (see pictures)year: 1941Cal: 12.68ZDoes the dial look original?And what about the crown? It's very different from all other crowns I saw on Longines from the same period...Thank you guys!
I know this has got to be the most mundane post EVER, and proves I have way too much time that should be spent elsewhere. But, this has bothered me every time I look at it and I couldn't figure out why. It's a 50th Anniversary limited edition! It should say something stylish, like "50th Anniversary Limited Edition" or "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the first Hamilton Electric Wristwatch". Instead, it says "Water resistant 30m, stainless steel, Sapphire Crystal." Thanks for reading.
