I can't quite put my finger on why, but I have nothing against quartz watches and I like a small seconds complication, but can't warm up to a quartz with small seconds (unless it's a chronograph). I guess in my mind a small seconds subdial is equated with classic design, while quartz isn't at all. Am I alone in this?
I currently have two, a Calatrava 5127R and Aquanaut 5165. I have ordered a 5124J from my AD. I was able to try one on at the Patek Philippe Salon in London last week.
