Rodania, face redone - authentic?

Hey guys, kinda curious about this watch I picked up on ebay, wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it. It's a vintage Rodania, which apparently the face was redone on. I've never heard of this being done, but the watch was pretty cheap so I figured I'd give it a shot. Would this watch have any value .It has a very ornate case with the no 28190. Its ahunter type case and I think it is gold filled but not stamped. The movement no is 986321.
