My first Hamilton electric!

I have been collecting watches for a few years now, and I have grown very fond of the pre-war mechanical Hamilton's. But not to be exclusive, I have also acquired a few Bulova's, Elgin, Waltham and Illinois. I finished this one yesterday.1916 Elgin Officer's Trench Watch, 15 jewels, 38mm nickel case, size 6s, Bund strap, Illinois Watch Case, beautiful damaskeen finish. Not your usual trench watch, this is the MUCH bigger 38mm version. Illinois made their version with 10mm lugs and a hinged case back, snap on bezel.
