I need some help finding a crystal for Seiko Automatic 7009-5010. Had a negative experience with a west coast dealer who stated that they had it and shipped the wrong one. Turns out they don't have it. Any help would be appreciated. Image borrowed from the internet.
As some of you may have experienced, being inspired by Stan and his work can be a scary thing. I have recently dipped a toe into the deep waters of pre30's Elgins. First up is a 1927 3/0 size grade 462. This is the movement featured in many of Stan's Pershings. I picked it up on Ebay for $16 and change and ran it through the ultrasonic.
