Ever seen or passed up a steal?

Well within a month of my acquiring my " Grail " 3573.50, I came across a well-known collector selling his newly-refurbished 1971 Speedy Pro. He couldn't sell it and eventually dropped the price to an unheard-of sum of $1100.That's eleven hundred dollars!!! Now if the gentleman had waited two months, he would easily have picked up a further three to four hundred for this very handsome watch. Later in the year, the watch would have fetched $1800 on that place by the sea let alone in sales corners
