The reason this watch is called the Vice Versa should be pretty clear. Thomas Ninchritz took an ETA Unitas 6498 manually wound movement and was able to mount it backwards on the watch. He calls this his Caliber TN 203. At the same time, he was able to move the watch dial so that it is located in an smaller, off-centered positionon what would be the rear of the watch. So what you are left with is a timepiece whose dial is the rear of a heavily modified Unitas 6498 which has been highly decorated,
I may have the opportunity to acquire a 5131. I normally don't ask this vs. that questions, but would you pick the G or J, and why? Being an european that moved to the US 10 years ago, I am leaning towards the J since that one shows the Americas an Europe. On the other hand, the colors on the map in the G looks somewhat nicer....I guess this a nice problem to have!! Any thoughts?
