Hey everyone.....new to the boards and had a question someone might be able to help with. I just bought an Alpha multi-function watch, I unwrapped it, wound it for the first time, set the time (18:30), pushed the date advance pusher, it moved ahead one day then it stopped. Now it does nothing. Anyone had this problem before? I hope I don't have to send it back. Any help is appreciated.
I'm still a bit in awe ever since I found this watch this afternoon in one of my customer's "bargain bin" (the watches he didn't really want to keep in his collection). He asked for a trivial amount of money, which I promptly handed over without questioning OR opening the watch. Only after did I come to find out nifty little details such as the original crystal and practically un-touched/blemished movement. The case is 20 microns gold plated and has some minor wear through around the lug edges,
