I have this Elgin that I recently purchased, and it has a 673 movement, but no serial number. Any ideas? I have found one that looks similar but it's from 1955, and has 21 jewels vs 17 jewels on this one. 
Many of us have enough watches to require some sort of wearing "rotation" so that our favorites get equal time.For me there is a particular watch that seems to demand to be worn more than the others and even when I try to rest it ,it won't go quietly. My wrist hog is the Planet Ocean which gets some wrist time just about every day and seldom runs down.Any other " wrist hogs"???
