Rik,I have a Ball Engineer Hydrocrbon Trieste, which, until recently has performed within COSC guidelines even though it is not a chronometer. For the lst week or so, it has been stopping even though I am careful to make sure it stays fully wound at least daily. On two occasions, it has stopped while on my wrist in bed. Two other times it has stopped while on the Orbita winder AboutTime sent me at the time I purchased the watch. If I wind the watch with the crown, it feels like the spring is
