My grandfather bought me a gold Hamilton watch when I was born. He's been gone for 20 years now. I was careless and lost the watch at the YMCA in December in San Diego. I'm sick about it. I loved that watch. I had a sign up for months in the gym with an offer for a reward but no one responded. I have no idea what model it was. I've never seen another one like it. It didn't work and I didn't care. It was a beautiful 14k gold band and it twisted. It looks like the one in this picture but
I visited some retail stores but they do not offer any discount for Rolex Datejust. The best is no sales tax if I choose to ship to other state. Then I passed by 47th in NYC, the diamond district. When I asked one store there, they immediately offered 20% off. Frankly speaking, the area and the way they do business make me feel doggy but I do not have any evidence. Has anyone bought a watch from there before? Any advise or experience to share? Also any reliable online dealers? Thank you
