I picked this up over the weekend. I'm not quite sure if this is a true Curvex or a pre-Curvex model. It looked to be in good shape and was a decent price so I couldn't pass it up. It has the 500 calibre movement and my guess is it's from possibly the mid-thirties? The engraving on the case made it seem more like a transitional style as tastes moved more for the cleaner lines and simpler watches of the 1930's. 
Has anyone seen the Verizon ad for the new Droid Razor? The customer is wearing a Luminor Marina with a white dial. Unfortunately, the closest view is only enough to make out the above. It is the first time I have seen a Panerai in a TV spot.
