I have had my eye on this for ages as it just calls out to me, however I get the impression it was not and is not a popular watch and that the movement is not up to much? I understand it is a Tag cal 17 "Piggy back" chrono module but don't know if this is good, bad or neither? Can I ask for some feedback regarding the build quality, movement etc? It is not a cheap watch and retailed for ��1,995 gbp ($2,900 usd) before it was recently discontinued.However I hardly ever see one posted on forums or 
VINTAGE 1955 OMEGA AUTOMATIC WATCH. The inside movement reads Omega Co swiss seventeen 17 jewels unadjusted and there is also a number 14877326. Also on the movement under the Omega symbol it says 500. The inside case reads Omega Watch Co Ross GX-6267 0186250. As you can see this was given as a gift for Christmas in 1958 which is inscribed on the back of the case. The watch runs and keeps time. I believe it to be gold plated but I can't seem to find a mark so I will let you be the judge and sell
