I recently bought some mainsprings for a variety of movements6/0, 8/0, 14/0, etc. Some of the mainsprings are Dynavar and specifically for the 8/0 747, 748 movements.I noticed last night when trying to install one the Dynavar variety was considerably narrower than the typical spring I see and it was also a little shorter.
