I bought this Elgin as non-working for repair, the original auction pictures were very poor but I could make out the case shape that i thought was very interesting. The watch arrived today and I now have more questions than before. The dial condition looks almost too good to be original which is probably my biggest question. Is anyone familiar with this model and is it all original? Thanks for your comments. The watch is powered by an Elgin 554 15 Jewel movement with a broken balance staff.P1370
Does anyone have a source for the caseback screws (there are 6 of them holding the caseback on) for a Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro?I noticed that one of the screws is missing from my watch. It's under warranty, but Swatch in Canada wants me to send the watch to them so they can't replace the screw for me. I'm quite capable of screwing it in myself, and would prefer to avoid any potential issues of shipping a watch out and having a careless watch tech scratch or ding it.Any input would be apprecia
