Guess who got the award for 2012 watch of the year???TAG HEUER. This award is the highest watchmaking honour.Maybe it was a good thing that SWATCH GROUP wants to stop supplying everyone with their movement. Now TAG, instead of being just a watch case maker has transform into a full watch producer. Anyway all those ETA is a very old tech movement,IMO. Here is a pic of the watch that won. Some might think Swatch Group action is bad for the swiss watchmaking industry. But for the watch loversLink:http
Hello everybody, this is my first post and I have a few questions. I recently came accross a watch in my fathers belongins that have been tuckes away for the last 35 years. He had gotten the watch from his uncle in the sixties. I identified it a Hamilton model dickens. It appears to be in good condition but I can't get the case opened. I don't want to force it. My question is , should I get it serviced or will I be waisting my money? and where does the Dickens rank?
