I've always thought the spacing between the case and the spring bar/strap on my watch seemed a little much, which was switched from the factory bracelet to a leather band. Recently came across some interesting info which may explain the issue. Any truth to this?"If you buy the model on a leather strap,the holes in the lugs for the pins are closer to the case...so the strap fits close to case with a very small gap. The same watch on a bracelet has the holes for the pins further away from the case
I was at O'Hare Airport today and happened by the Montblanc store. I was impressed to learn that they are making some in-house movements and thought their pieces were very nice though maybe a little large for my taste. Do you guys think these are worth the money or would I be better served with another brand?
