Beautiful watch, very dainty. The watch was a little tight and I wanted it made larger. It was very expensive to add a more sturdy and larger clasp. But worth it.

To polish or not to polish....

Hello all,After 'lurking' for some time on the forum I feel its time to dip my toe in the water....so to say! I'm not sure of the pro's and con's polishing a vintage reference (during service at PP, I mean). Why do some people prefer to look for 'unpolished' versus polished? Is it an aesthetic argument, authenticity argument, personal preference or does it (in reality) reduce the value of the piece? I'd appreciate thoughts from the communityThanks!
