Hello, I'm new to watchtalk, so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong forum or violating any rules. Thanks for your patience.I know this is a Tag forum, but I'm looking for objective opinions on 2 watches: the Tag Link Calibre 16 automatic chronograph and the Corum Admiral's Cup Legend 42. Both watches have a similar prices (I'm not overly worried about price). Both have distinct "looks"...I do lean slightly towards the Corum due to it's "off the beaten path" style and not-mainstream popularit
I have accumulated 15 or so watches over the past few years and when i was out of town last month i decided i should have my watches insured for obvious reasons. Those of you that do insure your watches, did you need an appraisal on anything over $2500? That is what my insurance co. is telling me. Also is it customary for a rolex AD to charge for an appraisal of a piece which i did not buy from them. Can any jewler appraise a rolex or does it need to be done by an AD?
