Last year I enlisted a little help from a fellow member & Omega collector to help me search for one of my grails. I was not having much luck finding a solid gold Seamaster from the late 50's or early 60's. The reason was I didn't want another of the normal 55x (no date) or 56x (date at 3) calibers you see so many of. Not that they're bad - on the contrary, they are some of the best Omega ever made - but I have a 561 gold capped pie pan from 1961 so I wanted something out of the ordinary.
