Question about new Seamaster

I just recieved my new 2254.50 and have a question. (Pics to follow). Is the watch suposed to come with any protective plastic on it when new? I didn't get from an AD, so no warrantee card. (I did recieve a 2 year warrantee through the supplier.) Just wondering if all Seamasters come without any protective items on them. Is there suposed to be a COSC certificate?And is there a serial number anywhere on the watch? Also, should I try taking out links or go to my watch guy for that? By the way I lo
