Went to see my watchmaker today, and he delivered on his promise of some interesting watches for me. First he showed me a rectangular 18K yg manual wind engine-turned dial Omega from the late 70's, then a great 18K rg (20 pennyweights of gold in the case! - that's almost $700 at scrap value even after the $50 drop per ounce in the last day) Bucherer chronograph with a Frederic Piguet mecaquartz hybrid movement.
