Beautiful watch however it did not keep time even after repeatedly resetting it. I thought that being a Seiko, it wouldn't have any blems but that was not the case. Therefore, I will not purchase this brand of watch again.

Nail Set?

Just saw this one on the bay, it's an old IWC but the seller calls it "nail set", it is an active auction and I have no involvement in it at all other than curiosity.international watch co large watch nail setSo what am I missing, is it nail set because there is a button missing or because someone drove a nail through the case, or maybe I am just reading it wrong.

Black enamel painted numerals (and a new Hamilton)

I just love this type of ca. 1930 Hamilton dial, in which the figures are painted with black enamel instead of luminous. I have a few in the collection (R to L): Meadowbrook, Langley, and (the new one) wgf Square B with plain bezel.
