The last few years have been a bit of a revitalization period for Swiss Ebel watches. The prominent brand was growing a bit staid, and it needed some new exciting watches, especially men's watches. So it brushed the dust off of it's classic hexagon case (you know, it roughly has six sides), and started releasing some new models. no thanks to that VSDW enabler P-J!I grabbed this one from Ramon(thewatchcollector) for nothing else other than the 'Japan'(ie; it has 17 Jewels printed on the dial and hopefully a Kanji day wheel) dial.The photo is slightly blown up but I know from experience that this dial is going to be a gem; even if the lume is weak...The dial is destined for my other 7290 and with the left over parts I think I can revive a half decent beater
